Membership Information

Dues are $10.00 for an individual or $15.00 for a family membership for memberships and renewals.

All memberships expire December 31st, but a grace period is usually given before you are set adrift.

Membership benefits include an annual subscription to our quarterly newsletter, meetings with speakers on kayaking adventures over potluck dinners, access to our e-mail list and phone line, and access to the Message Board for trip info, padlding partners and classifieds.

To Join or Renew Membership

Print, complete and send a membership form by US mail along with your check to the membership coordinator (see form for address). If you have trouble printing it please e-mail the membership coordinator with your postal address and a hard copy will be sent to you.

Roster

Members are free to use the club roster as an added means of communication. We ask that private messages to a fellow member be sent directly to him/her; both home phone numbers and email addresses are included for this purpose.

Due to concerns about privacy a group mailing by members using the roster is discouraged. However, if you do have something you would like distributed to the membership please send it to the membership coordinator. If it's within our parameters of general kayaking interest without being overly intrusive and it will be sent out for you. You may also post your message of interest to the message board.

The roster is sent to all members with the April newsletter and to new members as they join. Any member may request a reasonably current version by sending him a stamped envelope with your postal mailing address. To maintain member's privacy, the Club does not post the roster on the internet.

Update Your Membership Profile

Current members can now make changes to their profile information electronically. Just click the "Update Membership" button below that will bring up a form where you can sumbit changes to your personal information. Make sure you have your membership number handy.

Use this form to submit changes to your address, phone number, or email address so that you may continue to receive club updates in a timely manner. Changes can also be emailed to our membership coordinator.

We are currently working on a secure means of joining or renewing your membership electronically. The plan is to have this in place for the 2006 membership year. For now we can not process memberships from the web site.
